Is my realtor doing her job? Should I be worried?

My house has been on the market since April. I realize it takes time. She s a stay at home mother who also works as an agent. I ve noticed that she s very busy. Lately I have not heard from her. She keeps saying she s going to have an open house, but then I hear nothing. She said last Tuesday that she s going to have an open house on Sunday, but I have yet to hear from her. She seems cranky lately.. I have another question that i will post on that issue..I don t know? Am I being impatient?

It appears as if your real estate agent has other priorities. You would want to explain your concerns to your real
estate agent and request she release you from your buyer's contract.
It appears as if your real estate agent is bouncing too many balls at one time, and it is having an effect on her ability to devote the attention to the selling of your house, that is required.
If she balks and refuse, you would be required to approach her real estate broker and request a release. Don't be surprise if the real estate broker would want to use another real estate agent in his/her office as this would prevent the brokerage firm from losing the real estate commission.
It would concern me if my real estate agent would continue to promise something and not deliver on the promises.
