Saints Row IV is rated M for a good reason.
The game has a good amount of violence, but has a LOT of adult materials (including some "toys" that you would probably have a hard time explaining with having "The Talk"... which would likely head into TMI territory) & "general filth" (stuff that looks or sounds dirty) that isn't appropriate for most children under 17. It would be more borderline with a 13-year old.
Please familiarize yourself with the ESRB (North America) / PEGI (Europe / Australia) / CERO (Japan) rating systems (whatever is most relevant to where you're located) to give you a baseline to work with & do additional research from there (to double-check that the rating is justified). If you're still on the fence after that, then checking with others should help.
