I've read about child emotional abuse signs and every single thing on that list is happening to me. I'm 13 years old and my mom has been a single mother for 2 years now after my dad died. My dad was my best friend and whenever my mom would scold me he would ALWAYS have my back. My dad never hit me because he knew it was wrong, but after he passed away everything changed. My mom yells at me all the time for no reason.
My mom always puts me down whenever i'm happy and she always says to me that I deserve to die, i'm a *****, I should leave home and never come, I should kill myself and that she regrets having me as her daughter. She has never said any of that stuff to my twin sister. She always tells my sister that she love her, she wishes my sister was her only child. I cry myself to sleep every night because I think that I'm useless.
I once called a helpline and was going to report my mom but I hung up because I thought of my dad and how well known he was in my province, (I live in canada) and if I reported my mom and if she got arrested then my family's reputation will be ruined. All I want is to leave home and live with my brother, my sister in law and their 2 children.(one's 2 and the other is 7) My brother 30 years old and I know that if I move in with him he will love me like my dad and I will be happy after a long time. (they live in a basement and are saving up for a house) How do I report the abuse and how do I get proof that my mom is abusing me? Thx & God bless.

- Have someone report you to social services. Or report to them yourself.
- Tell a teacher talk to anybody so you can stop it. I'm sorry to hear your going through this
